In commemoration of the 212 years of the Independence of Venezuela, the national flag was raised on July 5; In this regard, the Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that “the Venezuelans They show every day that we are a warrior people, sons and daughters of men and women who gave us freedom.”
The statement was made known by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, on his social networks, where he stated that in perfect Civic-Military union, “an Independent Homeland continues to be forged.”
Earlier, the head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (CEOFANB), G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, along with representatives of indigenous peoples and members of the Executive Cabinet, highlighted the struggle of indigenous peoples for a Venezuela free of Spanish domain.
“Our autochthonous peoples have always been waging a struggle since time immemorial for the consolidation of freedoms in defense of rights over nature and the preservation of the fifth historical objective of the Homeland Plan, which is the preservation of man on the planet and nature”, he expressed before those present.
