Venezuela rejects Josep Borrell's interventionist statements

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela categorically rejected the terrorist attack perpetrated against the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (Tusas), an event that occurred this Wednesday the 23rd and left 4 people dead and 14 injured, according to information released in the early hours.

The information was announced by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through an official statement published on his Telegran account.

The event occurred in Ankara and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is at the Brisc summit, condemned the “atrocious terrorist attack.”

According to the versions published by the news agencies, the attackers would have been neutralized, while the victims were rescued.

The attacked industry is dedicated to manufacturing parts for airplanes, drones, helicopters and satellites, as has been reported so far.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the terrorist attack committed today, October 23, 2024, against the facilities of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), located in the Kahramankazan district, Ankara, Republic of Türkiye.

In the face of these events, which seek to undermine the tranquility of the brother people of Türkiye, Venezuela ratifies its support for the Turkish government in carrying out pertinent investigations so that those responsible for these events do not go unpunished, at the same time that it expresses solidarity and extends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the victims of this unfortunate event.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela reaffirms its ties of unconditional friendship and unrestricted solidarity with the Turkish Government and People, and takes advantage of the opportunity to ratify, within the framework of International Law and Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy, the categorical repudiation of terrorism, and any act of violence, which is intended to cause terror and anxiety in the civilian population.
