The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly rejects a new attempt interventionist by the United States (USA), by trying to take a position on future electoral processes that will take place in the country.
“The United States has no morals or the right to comment on the political processes in our country, which has amply demonstrated that it is sovereign and independent,” says the release published this Saturday by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, on his account on the social network Twitter.
Faced with this new attack by the United States, Foreign Minister Gil stressed that Venezuela rejects “the new attempt at interference by the United States government in its internal affairs.”
“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly rejects the new attempt to interfere by the United States government in its internal affairs, by trying to establish a position in relation to different aspects of the future electoral process,” the Foreign Minister published on Twitter.

“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly rejects the new attempt of interference by the United States government in its internal affairs, by trying to establish a position in relation to different aspects of the future Venezuelan electoral process of 2024.
The robust participatory and protagonist democracy of Venezuela neither requires nor accepts the tutelage of other nations, much less of indirect democratic systems and with severe restrictions on participation, imposed by economic interests and a deep institutionalized racism that every year registers the deprivation of the exercise of the democratic rights of large segments of the Afro-descendant population.
The United States would do better to apply timely and fair corrections to its electoral system before seeking to make value judgments about the legitimate actions of other countries’ democratic institutions.
The US has no morals or the right to comment on the political processes in our country, which has amply demonstrated that it is sovereign and independent. The interference of the Monroe Doctrine, as well as the blackmail and threats of illegal and unilateral coercive measures, have no effect on a people that has decided to be irrevocably free.
