The Government of Venezuela rejected and condemned this Saturday the attacks carried out by the forces of Israel against Iran and Syria, stating that it was a violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat to the peace and security of the region.
Through a statement, published by Foreign Minister Yván Gil in his social media accountsit was indicated that these events constitute a new act of unjustified aggression.
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejects and condemns the attacks perpetrated by the Zionist regime of Netanyahu, against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Syrian Arab Republic, which constitute a new act of unjustified aggression, violation of the sovereignty of these countries and a threat against regional peace and security,” the text states.
Furthermore, he indicated that the continued violation of international law by Israel, as well as the terrorist and genocidal actions against Palestine and Lebanon, “configure the Zionist entity as an outlaw State.”
The statement stated that Israel must be stopped immediately by the international community through political and judicial bodies, being the only measure that will allow stability to be restored in the region and avoid a larger scale conflict.
