Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez made this Tuesday, April 5, the usual report on the situation of covid-19 in the country, where she announced the detection of 125 new cases during the last 24 hours, to reach 521,030 infections since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
During his daily report, Rodríguez pointed out that the total number of reported cases correspond to community infections, with the most affected states being Apure (26), Miranda (17), Vargas (16), Lara (14) and the Capital District (12).

He specified that of the 521,030 cases of covid-19 detected so far, some 513,671 have been recovered, which is equivalent to 99%; to which he added that 1,671 cases are active.
“890 people are hospitalized in the public health system, 153 cases are treated in private clinics, while 628 are under supervised community care.”
