The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said Tuesday that Venezuela is reconciling with the great ideas of justice, freedom and equality inspired by the liberating fathers and mothers of the continent, “they knew how to overcome the vicissitudes and never surrendered to any threat, however hard it was.”
During the installation of the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, the Head of State, said that this call is a demonstration that Venezuela is reconciled and united to defend its sovereignty, live in freedom and peace.
“Here you breathe a spirit of faith in Venezuela, you can see and hear a spirit of national union. Aseches and threats against Venezuela have aroused a national feeling of love, for the right we have to exist, to live and to develop according to our knowledge and understand as a people that self -determination,” he said.
He assured that in the national territory there is a spirit of unwavering faith, that they have aroused a feeling of love for the right to independence. “The concept of self -determination of peoples, is a concept that today is more in force,” he said.
He highlighted the broad participation in the National Council for Sovereignty and Peace, highlighting the assistance of 53 of 56 political formations in the country. Of these, 13 belong to the great patriotic pole and 40 to opposition parties.
Deeply moved by the interventions of the attendees, President Maduro said they are “times of commitment and love”, which have allowed him to more intensely understand the proclamations of Liberator Simón Bolívar. He recalled the harsh stories of the I Republic and the defeats faced by the Liberators, highlighting that “they never let themselves be overwhelmed by adverse conditions.”
In that context, he made a direct reference to the letter from Jamaica de Bolívar, describing it as a text of great feeling and strategic clarity. In his analysis, he explained how Bolívar, through this letter, explained the sociological and historical reasons of the division of the Venezuelan people, rectifying the way for their fighting partners to understand the need for the flags of the liberation of slaves: equality and freedom as foundations to build the Republic.
“That remained in history and was one of the vital elements of historical rectification that Bolívar imposed,” he said.
On the other hand, President Maduro reiterated that Venezuela is being threatened by the interference policies of the US government, which violate all national and international laws, as well as world treaties and agreements, which has been repudiable by most existing countries.
“For Venezuela, what runs is a patriotic fervor, of love, deep for the right we have to peace, for the right we have to sovereignty, self -determination, this is not a national problem, this is an international problem,” he said.
He stressed that Venezuela’s problems must be solved by Venezuelans and constitutional ways.
He recalled the actions of Commander José Tomás Boves, when he arrived with his troops to Venezuelan lands and, far from freeing the people, subjected him to abuse and violence, at a time when the nation cried out for freedom and equality.
He recalled that the Creole whites born in Venezuela, together with sectors of the oligarchy, asked that that army come, believing that it would be a force of order. However, what came was a horror machinery that, instead of protecting, sowed death and destruction.
He affirmed that the Army, in the end, could not with the people, because it was an imperialist force that sought to restore the domination of the King of Spain on a Venezuela determined to be free.
He said that if in Venezuela there was a serious political crisis characterized by confrontation or internal violence, which is non -existent, this situation would have to be channeled as historically has been done: through direct dialogue, face to face, between Venezuelans and Venezuelans.
In that sense, he categorically rejected the claims of some sectors, whom he described as “Creole whites of the surnames”, which have promoted threats against the country, such as the launch of missiles, bombings, blockages or invasion attempts.
In that context, he reaffirmed that in the face of these claims there is a national consensus, since between 93% and 95% of Venezuelans and Venezuelans reject and repudiate the military threats of the US government against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
USA VIOLA All regulations of international law after war threat
During his speech, the national president denounced that Venezuela is subject in an immoral way and in full violation of all regulations of international law by the United States government to a multiform war.
He stressed that in recent weeks the American Empire has deployed a repudiable and immoral threat in the Caribbean Sea, near the Venezuelan coasts, which has made the patriotic spirit of the entire region awaken. “For Venezuela, a patriotic fervor runs, for the right of deep love that we have to peace, sovereignty, self -determination, it is not a national problem, it is an international problem.”
«Venezuela is being subjected immorally violating all international law, Mr. Chancellor Iván Gil, violating all the regulations of the International Law established in the United Nations Charter signed 80 years ago and throughout the system and the legal framework built for eight decades, the government of the United States of America violating all international laws, all treaties, international agreements and the Charter of Nations has submitted our country to our country Multiform war and particularly in the last five weeks to an absolutely repudiable, criminal and immoral threat, ”he denounced.
He affirmed that the “military threats” of the United States against Venezuela, in reference to the deployment of military forces in the Caribbean Sea by Washington, are an “international problem.”
He assured that the current situation that Venezuela is going through has a root in an imperial operation promoted by the United States government.
In that context, he said that this operation has as a strategic objective to seize the natural wealth of Venezuela, generate a change of political regime, impose a puppet government subordinated to foreign interests and execute a systematic aggression that has been called “the slaughter of Boves”, an expression that refers to a maneuver of destabilization with international implications.
Maduro also denounced that a narrative and a speech full of lies on Venezuela has been mounted, whose story no Venezuelan believes, because they are unfounded and sustenance accusations.
In that context, he emphasized: “I have never sought or try to use the presidency to obtain fortune goods.”
“We, this situation, we are going to ride and we will be victorious with a stronger, more peaceful, more democratic and more united country,” he said.
Maduro called on the “national union” of “all sectors above political, ideological, colors, cultures, races and religions,” which considers “the way to contain the US threat” and “defeat it fully.”
