The Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace reported on Friday, October 3 that received a new deportation flight from the United States, with 313 Venezuelan migrants on board, at the Maiquetía International Airport.
In the aircraft with American acronyms, 38 women, 265 men, four girls and six boys arrived. The ministry, in a Instagram social network publicationHe pointed out that these migrants were provided “logistical support and the necessary comprehensive care for their reintegration into productive and family life in the homeland.”
Deportation flights have not stopped despite tensions between the governments of the United States and Venezuela for the deployment of the US army in the Caribbean Sea by anti -drug operations. According to the protocol established by the authorities, when they reach Maiquetía, each migrant is interviewed to review their case and then receive medical care. Subsequently they are transferred to their homes by the security forces.
According to official information, since the resumption of the return plan to the country last February more than 13,000 nationals have returned.
