Internationalist Elizabeth Pereira highlighted that Venezuela during the 79th session of the United Nations (UN) Assembly has achieved more than 30 bilateral and multilateral meetings reaffirming the active role of Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy.
During an interview on the program “Al Aire”, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Pereira explained that the Venezuelan State has held a large number of meetings with countries as well as with multilateral organizations and bodies during the days since the meeting. “On the first day, it met with 12 countries and on the second day, with 15 countries, as well as with the Mnoal, Celac + China and the Summit of the Future; which means, so far, an iota of Venezuela’s diplomatic international relations.”
This meeting is a new opportunity for the country to “reveal to the world the active diplomatic relations undertaken by the National Government” and reaffirms the principles and positions of the administration of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, on the major international agenda.
“In the face of the matrix and thesis of isolation and the new attempt at a political and diplomatic blockade, it is clear that Venezuela continues to have a new active and preponderant role in bilateral and multilateral relations,” he said.
It is worth noting that the 79th session of the UN is a space for world leaders to analyse the causes and solutions to address global challenges that threaten peace.
