The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratified the commitment to the Sustainable Development Goal of the United Nations Organization, on Inclusive and Quality Education.
This was stated by the Minister of Popular Power for Education, Yelitze Santaella, during the Meeting of Ministers of Education of Non-Aligned Countries (NAM), as reported by the Venezuelan Mission to the United Nations (UN) on its Twitter account, @ UNVNewYork

At the forum, the minister expressed that despite the negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on the Right to Education, “Venezuela has consolidated a broad system of educational inclusion at the national level for students, teachers, and communities. Venezuela has been consolidated and continues to advance in a solid system and educational inclusion at the national level”.
In addition, he ratified the country’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goal number four, on Inclusive and Quality Education “it is a common challenge of the southern countries, unity and cooperation, as the real basis of knowledge ”.
Similarly, he indicated that Venezuela has made progress, with 100% of teachers and students vaccinated, 91% of school enrollment is attended and worked, to reach 100% this school year.
He pointed out that 93% of the country’s students are served by the School Food Program (PAE), 92% of high school graduates were guaranteed a university place, and 1,832,644 Venezuelan citizens were literate.
