Venezuela ratifies fight against corruption in forum of the World Inter-Parliamentary Union

The comptroller general of the Republic and president of the Republican Moral Power, Elvis Amoroso, participated on behalf of Venezuela, in a high-level virtual event, organized by the World Interparliamentary Union (IPU), where the country’s contribution in the fight was ratified against corruption.

In the international forum Amoroso expressed: “We join this meeting with the intention of making the contributions that the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has made, to combat acts of corruption.”

This virtual event was attended by 40 members of parliaments and Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs), to exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences among themselves.

The comptroller participated in the forum from the Luis A. Pietri Auditorium of the headquarters of the Comptroller General of the Republic in Caracas.

The objective of the activity is that all International Organizations, as members of many countries, can increase the impact of audits and explore new possibilities in the future.
