He stressed that the Venezuelan nation does not appear in the list of countries that produce narcotic substances, does not have drug crops and organizations dedicated to illicit drug trafficking do not operate in its territory.
In recent statements, the National Anti-Drug Superintendent said that unlike the United States, in Venezuela “the only wall we have is against drugs and its effectiveness was reflected in the latest report of the @UNODC year 2022″.
we keep moving forward
Given the news that Venezuela ranks 11th in the seizure of cocaine, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, stressed that the country continues to “advance in the fight against drugs and crime, thanks to the Great Quadrants of Peace Mission, public policy implemented by the Good Bolivarian Government».
Venezuela stands firm against drug trafficking
On June 26, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified his commitment to combat drug trafficking, on the occasion of the World Day for the Fight against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.
FANB remains vigilant
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) remains firm in the fight against drug trafficking and the invasion of groups such as the Terrorist Drug Traffickers of Colombia (Tancol), who through their structures intend to install their criminal activities in the country.
In this sense, the head of the FANB’s Strategic Operational Command (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernández Lárez, stressed that the military forces continue on the cross-border axis to put an end to the Tancol camps and structures.
“Venezuela is a land of peace, not drug trafficking,” said the Head of Ceofanb.
These FANB actions are aimed at completely ending the country’s drug trafficking structures, under the premise of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who urged to declare 2022 as the Tancol-free year throughout the national territory.
The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and Venezuelan security agencies seized more than 51 tons of drugs in 2021.
