Venezuela raised in Iran the creation of the World Movement of Women for peace, cultural diversity, social justice and self-determination of peoples.
This proposal was presented by the first combatant, Cilia Flowersin the I International Congress of Influential Women that takes place in that country, referred a Press release.
“It is women who are most affected by the exploitative capitalist model, which causes severe effects on public health, food and energy security, international security and environmental balance,” Flores said in Congress.
For this reason, he pointed out, it is opportune to assume a political and historical conscience to fight for social justice and the construction of a better society.
In this sense, the also deputy of the National Assembly (AN), indicated that the joint action platform should also aim at the fight against poverty and social injustice, largely caused by Western, imperialist and neocolonialist capitalism.
During her intervention in Congress, she also urged the creation of an action agenda in the short, medium and long term in favor of women’s struggles, and inspired by the Venezuelan heroines who, in scenarios of systematic aggression, revalidated their commitment to the defense of the independence.
Given the appearance of methods of “diffuse, disguised” interference that promote violence against sovereign countries, Cilia Flores highlighted the urgent need to unmask the tendencies that try to usurp the genuine struggle of women to impose a colonialist agenda.
