Venezuela participates in the Services Commerce Fair in China

The Minister of the Popular Power of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, on behalf of Venezuela, attends the inauguration of the International Services Commerce Fair of China (CIFTIS) 2025, which takes place from September 10 to 14, in Beijing, China, considered one of the most important platforms to promote global development and cooperation.

During her arrival, Minister Godoy greeted Vice Prime Minister of China, Ding Xuexiang, who reaffirmed the commitment of the government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, by deciding Adhere to the Global Governance Initiativeproposed by President Xi Jinping, as he reviewed on his Instagram account.

At the opening of the Fair, China’s Minister of Commerce, Wang Wentao, highlighted the growing importance of trade in the global economy. For his part, President Xi Jinping sent a message underlining his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in this sector.

The Deputy Minister of International Commercial Policy, Johann Álvarez, and the National Superintendent of the Special Economic Zones, Johann Álvarez Márquez, also made an appearance in this event, together with Minister Godoy, as part of the Venezuelan delegation found in the capital of the Asian country.

Venezuela with its participation in the CIFTIS 2025 ratifies the will to consolidate bilateral cooperation established in social justice and the defense of a new international order, through the alliance “foolproof and all time”, managing to implement a platform that promotes sovereignty and equality.

It should be noted that on August 9, the Minister of Foreign Trade, Coromoto Godoy, also participated in the 25 International Investment and Commerce Fair (Cifit), in Xiamen-Fujian, China.
