The ambassadors of Cuba, Oscar León González, Nicaragua, Carlos Suárez, and Venezuela, Belén Orsini, to Angola met in Luanda with the aim of advancing a joint agenda in view of the commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), to be held on December 14.
The diplomats reflected on the current geopolitical reality and the dignity with which their leaders have faced the advance of fascism in the region, guided by the ideals of Bolívar, Martí and Sandino.
They agreed that the upcoming anniversary of ALBA-TCP is a historic opportunity to reaffirm the achievements in the field of political, economic and social cooperation, as well as to strengthen, defend and promote unity, peace and social justice.
