The Minister of Tourism pointed out that on Tuesday, January 10, 441 Russian tourists arrived on the island of Margarita, as part of a cooperation plan with Moscow.
On the other hand, he said that in the last three months of 2022 Venezuela received almost 5,000 tourists from Cuba, with the aim of shopping in Margarita and also in Paraguaná, in the coastal state of Falcón.
«This shopping tourism with Cuba, we start once a week (flights), we already have five a week, with the projection of having seven. These tourists are small Cuban businessmen who, on average, spend 3,500, 4,000, 5,000 dollars on consumption for four, five, seven days,” he added.
