Seized 24 tons of drug and 8,931 detainees are a sign of the commitment that the Venezuelan State maintains in the fight against this scourge with the firm purpose of protecting the people and offering security and peace, the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, highlighted on Tuesday.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Ceballos specified that these results are the product of “the forceful actions of the Venezuelan State in the fight against drugs“.
“The forceful actions of the Venezuelan State in the fight against drugs demonstrate our commitment to protect society. With 24 tons of drugs seized and 8,931 detainees, we are fighting this scourge,” the Minister posted on Twitter.
Citizen Security: Quadrants of Peace Mission
Minister Remigio Ceballos explained that these actions are carried out in compliance with the citizen security policies ordered by the National Executive, who has instructed to keep Venezuela free of crimes such as drug trafficking, organized crime, among others.
In this sense, Ceballos emphasized that the Great Peace Quadrants Mission represents the “guarantee of the fight against corruption, organized crime and illicit drug trafficking.”
For the Minister it is important that in this task of protecting the people the different levels of government remain united in the same effort.
“Together, we move forward to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people,” he said.
“The implementation of the citizen security policy, Gran Misión Cuadrantes de Paz, is a guarantee of the fight against corruption, organized crime and illicit drug trafficking. Together, we move forward to guarantee the well-being of the Venezuelan people, ”he indicated on the social network.
20 years: Peace Quadrants
He recalled that the Great Mission Peace Quadrants It was created 20 years ago by Commander Hugo Chávez and currently strengthened by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
He ratified that from the Ministry under his charge “we remain firm in our commitment to defend, protect and serve Venezuela.”
