The minister mentioned the Economic Fund as an unfulfilled promise of the 2015 Paris Agreement, where developed countries committed to financing 100 million annually, which have never been granted.

In this sense, he specified that specialists and scientists currently assure that the 100 million dollars are not enough to equate and achieve a balance of losses and damages, and extolled that the high point of the COP27 arena is at the agenda of the hypocrisy of the great powerful nations of the world like the developed countries.
In addition to this, he pointed out that during the last 200 years, developed countries such as the United States and large European countries have been the cause of global warming and the widespread climate crisis.
Likewise, he emphasized that in order to achieve the objectives of preserving the environment in Venezuela, as indicated by President Nicolás Maduro, it is necessary to fulfill the fifth historical objective of the Plan de la Patria, mandate of Commander Hugo Chávez.
Similarly, he mentioned that one of the main achievements of Venezuela is the preservation of parks and natural monuments, with 28% and, of protected natural areas under the regime, 43% of the territory; In addition, the energy matrix is 80% clean.

According to the Expected and Determined Contributions at the National Level, delivered before the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, it was established that 79.8% of Venezuelan energy comes from the energy matrix, something that few countries have achieved.
