The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through a statement expressed Venezuela’s solidarity with the people and governments of Central America in the face of the onslaught of tropical storm Sara, located in the Atlantic Ocean.
“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep solidarity and willingness to accompany the people and Governments of Central America, who are currently facing the threat of tropical storm Sara, located in the Atlantic Ocean, which has especially threatened the Republic of Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize, Guatemala and Mexico,” indicates part of the document.
Likewise, the nation makes the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force available to these countries to provide all required solidarity support.

“The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deep solidarity and willingness to accompany the people and governments of Central America, who are currently facing the threat of tropical storm Sara, located in the Atlantic Ocean, which has especially threatened the Republic of Honduras, Nicaragua, Belize, Guatemala and Mexico.
The Bolivarian Government makes available to the affected nations, and immediately to the government of President Xiomara Castro of Honduras, the technical and human capabilities of the Simón Bolívar Humanitarian Task Force to provide all solidarity support that is considered appropriate in the face of any emergency situation that could be generated by this new event.
“Venezuela remains attentive to the cooperation plans that they determine to support in these difficult circumstances and we reiterate our commitment to accompany the nations of the Central American region, reaffirming that unity and solidarity between our peoples are the basis for overcoming any challenge.”
