The Venezuelan delegation participated in the International Meeting of Parliamentarians and Political Parties, a forum where the national representation defended the country’s sovereignty before the international community. The activity was headed by the first vice president of the National Assembly (AN), Pedro Infante, who led the debate on the self-determination of peoples.
Present at the meeting were deputy Tania Díaz and the executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP), Rander Peña. Both officials highlighted the importance of global political unity and the strengthening of regional integration blocks, as reported by the ANTV channel through its official channels.
During the development of the forum, legislators from various continents expressed their solidarity with Venezuela, focusing their support on the defense of peace, dialogue and strict respect for International Law.
Likewise, the meeting served as a stage for various international voices to join the clamor for justice and the prompt release of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. With this event, the nation reaffirms its “Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy” strategy and consolidates strategic alliances with political movements on a global scale.
