Venezuela continues on the path of growth in the energy sector despite the blockade

“There are many investors from the United States and even from Europe and the Middle East who are coming to the country and are being welcomed. Venezuela is at peace and continues to grow economically,” stated the deputy of the National Assembly (AN), William Rodriguezduring an interview on the program “Al Aire”, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

The parliamentarian explained that on September 30, Venezuela’s production closed at one million 016 barrels, which means a considerable increase thanks to the efforts of the Venezuelan Petroleum workers and the work being done by the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez»who also presides over the Ministerial Petroleum Portfolio.

Preliminary Renewable Energy project advances

On the other hand, the deputy pointed out that the Permanent Commission on Energy and Petroleum already has the preliminary draft of Renewable Energy ready, and it is expected that it will continue on the parliamentary agenda, “consultations were made with eight ministries, various universities, groups of advisors; “There is an articulated force to move forward.”

It should be noted that this preliminary project for Renewable and Alternative Energies seeks to offer a new non-polluting energy matrix for Venezuela and is part of the 5th objective of the Homeland Plan, referring to the preservation of life on the planet and the salvation of the human species.

He recalled that for the preparation of the draft law, four work tables were established: the scientific-academic table, the ministerial table, the business table and the social table.

Finally, he indicated that from the Legislative Branch the aforementioned commission continues “actively working on the discussion and renewal of the contracts of the mixed companies and about 10 or 12 mixed companies remain to go to the National Assembly in order to hold meetings with the parliamentarians.”
