Extensive trajectory
Youssouf, according to the portal Africa Business, began his diplomatic career in the 90s, at the head of the Department of Arab Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Subsequently, he served as Yibuti ambassador to Egypt and Delegate Minister for International Cooperation, before becoming Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in 2005.
