The Government of Venezuela congratulated Nicaragua for the municipal elections that were held in the Central American country on November 6, when the “invariable will to travel the routes of the participatory political process” was confirmed.
This was announced by the Vice Presidency of the Republic through a tweet.
In the document, President Nicolás Maduro congratulates the Government of Nicaragua for holding “elections defined by tranquility, citizen participation and the ratification of the vote, as an indisputable instrument to defend Sovereignty, self-determination and the institutions of the State” .

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Bolivarian people and Government, extends his embrace of solidarity and message of congratulations to the People and Government of Nicaragua, for confirming in the municipal elections on Sunday, November 6, once again, their will invariable to travel the routes of the participatory political process that has been guaranteed in the fifteen years, the restitution of its Dignity and fundamental Rights.
We warmly salute Comandante Presidente Daniel Ortega, the Vice President, Compañera Rosario Murillo, and the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) for this indisputable victory in elections defined by tranquility, citizen participation, and the ratification of the vote, as an indisputable instrument for defend the Sovereignty, the self-determination and the institutions of the State.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela ratifies its commitment to solidarity with the Sandinista Government in the construction of the new multicentric and multipolar world that is taking shape in an accelerated manner, for the good of humanity.
