The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, congratulated the heroic people and Government of the Republic of Cuba, on the occasion of commemorating the 64th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
The information was released through a statement published by Foreign Minister Carlos Faría on his Twitter @Fariacrt social network account.
“Venezuela confirms that this date is historic and special with Cuba, since we are united by ties of brotherhood and similar challenges in defense of the self-determination of peoples against any form of foreign interference,” the statement quoted.
After one more year of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, Venezuela pays tribute to the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, who on his first visit in 1959, expressed “I want the concept of Homeland to have a greater scope! Hopefully the fate of our peoples be a single destination!.
