The Kingdom of Cambodia celebrates its 72nd Independence Day this Sunday, so the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela sent its congratulations to the Southeast Asian nation; which were issued by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, through his Telegram channel.
“On behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, we extend our most sincere congratulations to the people and the Kingdom of Cambodia on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of its Independence Day,” Gil said in the digital publication.
He also noted respect and admiration for the reaffirmation of the sovereignty and self-determination of the Cambodian people, which are values that honor the history and identity of the Asian country.
“We ratify our firm commitment to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries, promoting initiatives that promote mutual development and cultural exchange,” concluded the Venezuelan diplomat.
