The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela condemns, in the strongest terms, the attacks perpetrated by Israel in the South of Beirut and its surroundings, this September 28, 2024, “causing an atrocious massacre that left at least 25 people dead and 108 injured, in addition of the assassination of the political leader of the Lebanese militia, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary General of Hezbollah.”
The information was announced by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, through an Official Statement posted on his Telegram channel.
In the letter, Venezuela warns that “Israel acts in alliance with the United States through false peace negotiations and deceptive and endless diplomatic maneuvers, while orchestrating and executing macabre plans to assassinate.”

More than 1,000 people died and some 6,300 were injured due to Israel’s bombings against Lebanon in the last 12 days, reported the interim Lebanese Minister of Health, Firas Abiad, quoted by Sputnik and reviewed by AVN.
“From September 16 to 27, 2024, 1,030 people died, including 56 women and 87 children. The total number of injured during this period is 6,352,” Abiad said in a press conference.
Since October 8, Israel’s attacks have claimed the lives of 1,640 people in Lebanon, including 104 children and 194 women, and injured 8,408 others.
Regarding the number of fatalities from the Israeli attack on Friday against a southern suburb of Beirut in which the head of the Lebanese Shiite Hezbollah movement, Hasan Nasrallah, died, the minister confirmed 11 dead and 108 wounded.
Since Monday, September 23, Israel has been carrying out massive aerial bombardments against Lebanon.
The actions of both Israel and Hezbollah have been escalating, and there are fears that the conflict could turn into an open war or even a regional one.END/AVN/ PN/
