Venezuela will send a protest note to the Netherlands for hiding González Urrutia

The Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, held a telephone conversation with his counterpart of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Musa Timothy Kabbah, whom he thanked for his words of solidarity and support towards the Venezuelan people after the attack perpetrated by the US on January 3.

Through his Telegram channel, Gil reported that during the call he explained the reality facing Venezuela, highlighting the country’s bravery in the face of recent events, among which he denounced the kidnapping of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the first combatant, Cilia Flores, in addition to the murder of a hundred soldiers and civilians.

The Minister for Foreign Affairs took the opportunity to congratulate Sierra Leone for its outstanding management in favor of peace, human rights and the stability of nations, especially in its role as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the period 2024-2025.

Likewise, Gil stressed that Venezuela gratefully reiterates Sierra Leone’s firm position in defense of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
