Venezuela and Turkey reaffirm ties of tourism cooperation

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Félix Plasencia, held a meeting with the Turkish Minister of Tourism, Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, in order to reaffirm the cooperation ties between the two nations in terms of Tourism.

Through a post published on Twitter, Plasencia pointed out that in the activity, the Minister of Tourism “showed interest in deepening cooperation, due to the great tourism potential of Venezuela.”

“We were received by the Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Turkey, @MehmetNuriErsoy, who showed interest in deepening cooperation, due to the great tourism potential of Venezuela and the existing air connectivity between the two nations through @TurkishAirlines,” Plasencia wrote. .

It should be remembered that, in May of last year, Venezuela delivered a tourism license to the Turkish company Turkish Airlines, with the aim of encouraging foreign participation in this sector.

The Turkish company, in 2017, made available its routes to the most emblematic tourist places in Venezuela, in which Margarita Island, Los Roques and Canaima stand out.
