This Tuesday, between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Saharawi Arab Republic signed various cooperation agreements to strengthen bilateral relations.
The act took place in the Simón Bolívar Room of the Miraflores Palace where representatives of both delegations signed 11 memorandums of understanding, which cover areas of health, education, university education, Agriculture and Land, among others.
The Head of State highlighted that the visit of his counterpart from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, Brahim Ghali, ratifies ties of brotherhood, cooperation and union. “We feel very pleased and happy that our Arab and African brothers from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic are here in our Homeland.”
Likewise, Maduro advocated that the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council be respected and that the Saharawi people be given the right to their self-determination.
During the act, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, awarded the Libertadores y Libertadoras de Venezuela order in its first class to his counterpart Brahim Ghali.
