This situation “has generated a strong crisis of inputs, basic necessities, as well as goods and services for the human subsistence of their compatriots,” the Ambassador stressed.
Given this scenario, Vice Minister Rodríguez expressed the full support and solidarity of the Venezuelan people and Government, and offered the helping hand of Venezuela, with the purpose of continuing to strengthen the ties of brotherhood.
Syria–Venezuela relations

Likewise, it should be noted that Venezuela and Syria have been victims of multiple attacks and the illegal imposition of coercive measures promoted by the United States government, with the aim of destabilizing the constitutional order and overthrowing their legitimately elected presidents, Bashar Al-Asad ( Syria) and Nicolás Maduro (Venezuela).
