Venezuela and Russia reviewed cooperation agenda

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Carlos Faria, held a meeting on Wednesday with the Deputy Prime Minister, Yuri Borisov, to review the cooperation agenda between the two nations.

This, as part of the work agenda carried out by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister in the Russian Federation.

According to a press release published by the Ministry for Foreign Affairsboth representatives discussed points related to bilateral cooperation, reciprocal solidarity in multilateral forums and international geopolitics.

The meeting reiterated the intention of both nations to strengthen bilateral relations that reach a level of strategic alliance, through the review and design of the mutual cooperation agenda.

During his visit to Russia, the Venezuelan foreign minister met with his counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, with the aim of continuing to strengthen the bilateral agreements between Venezuela and Russia, through the review and design of the cooperation agenda of both nations.

In addition, they agreed to promote in the UN the illegal nature of coercive and unilateral measures against both peoples.

Likewise, from the GlavUpDk Cultural Center, in the act of commemoration of the 211 years of the Declaration of Independence of Venezuela, Minister Faría expressed the will of the Bolivarian Government to raise to a higher level the strategic relations of cooperation and friendship that build the presidents Nicolás Maduro Moros and Vladimir Putin.
