The ambassador of Venezuela In Kazakhstan, Rosalba Lo Bue Antico, held a meeting with the first deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Akan Rakhmetullin, which was conducive to reviewing the state of relations and talking about expanding cooperation in various areas.
The meeting took place last Wednesday at the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan, where topics of interest were analyzed that will allow the expansion of cooperation relations in areas such as politics, economic-commercial and legal-contractual, among other points.
“During the meeting, special attention was paid to cooperation issues in a multilateral format, in particular, within the framework of the UN; regional and interregional integration mechanisms, and the new emerging integration blocks. The importance of Kazakhstan’s leadership in Central Asia and its aspiration to become a middle power was also mentioned,” says a press release of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Lo Bue Antico explained the current geopolitical context of Venezuela and its position in the region, within the framework of the Bolivarian doctrine of the 21st century and the truth of the nation.
For his part, the first vice minister welcomed the ambassador and sent congratulations to the Venezuelan people, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, for the electoral victory on July 28, praising the leadership of the head of state, Nicolás Maduro, as winner of the elections.
Both authorities agreed to continue efforts to expand cooperative relations, as well as increase the exchange of information and official visits during 2025, with the objective of forming a Venezuela-Kazakhstan High Level Intergovernmental Commission.
