Venezuela and Iran strengthen ties of brotherhood and strategic cooperation based on peace and mutual respect, highlighted the president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, who held a meeting with the minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
Through his account on the social network Twitter, Rodríguez indicated that the meeting was very important because work continues to strengthen relations between the governments and parliaments of Venezuela and Iran.
“We held an important meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, to strengthen the ties of brotherhood and strategic cooperation based on peace and mutual respect between both peoples, governments and parliaments,” he published. Visit to Venezuela
Last Thursday, the Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, arrived in Venezuela to fulfill a work agenda with different national government authorities, with the aim of strengthening friendship and cooperation agreements between the two countries.
With the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, he held a meeting this Friday, in order to strengthen bilateral relations.
The Head of State with the first combatant, Cilia Flores; the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez; and the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, welcomed the Persian Minister of Foreign Affairs at the Miraflores Palace.
Likewise, he met with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, as well as his counterpart, Yván Gil; and with the Minister for Oil, Tarek El Aissami.
Venezuela and Iran
As part of the bilateral integration, Venezuela and Iran have signed agreements in the scientific and technological area, the agreements cover educational training, nanotechnology, biotechnology, petrochemicals, probiotics, radiology, fiber optics, social data analysis and system design. scientific-technological, among others.
It should be remembered that, last June, during the official visit of President Nicolás Maduro to Tehran, Venezuela and Iran deepened political relations, economic and commercial.
During this trip, the Venezuelan president and his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, signed a 20-year strategic cooperation plan in various areas of mutual interest in the energy, scientific, hydrocarbon, defense, culture, economy and food sectors.
