In this sense, the senior Venezuelan official reiterated that this mixed alliance “is the instrument that both nations are currently expanding to comply with the 20-year plan” that was recently signed by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in his visit to the city of Tehran last June, where both countries managed to generate important agreements”, cites the VTV portal.

Likewise, he explained that seven mixed subcommittees, made up of the Venezuelan government sector and the Iranian private sector, come together in this meeting, who address issues in agro-industrial matters; Science and Technology; electricity; energy and oil, among others.

“We are full of expectations. We have great projects and great challenges to bring to both Republics true bonds of brotherhood, cooperation, mutual aid for the strengthening of bilateral relations, for the dream of our liberators and for the mandate of President Maduro that is based on building an efficient relationship, harmony and honesty between both peoples”, emphasized Velásquez Araguayán.

For its part, Iran’s defense ministerMohammad Reza Ashtiani, highlighted the relevance that Venezuela has in Latin America, while expressing his admiration for the Venezuelan head of state for his impetus and willingness to move the Caribbean country forward in all possible fields.

While the Minister of People’s Power for Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, who also participates in these workshops, pointed out through her account on the social network Twitter, @Gabrielasjrthat “scientific agreements with Iran are part of a policy of mutual learning and construction of another possible world.”

It should be noted that both countries have been working on the Roadmap for Cooperation for the 2022-2042 period, which includes the development of electricity, oil, health, culture, tourism, agriculture, transportation, scientific and technological projects, as well as in the multilateral sphere with the solid alliances that Caracas and Tehran maintain within OPEC and the OPEC Declaration of Cooperation.
