During the official reception for the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil Pinto thanked the historical solidarity of the Persian nation towards Venezuela.
On behalf of President Nicolás Maduro and the acting president, Delcy Rodríguez, the minister stressed that Iran has been an unconditional ally in all circumstances, consolidating a transparent relationship that seeks the well-being of both peoples.
Gil emphasized that the future of Tehran and Caracas is marked by peace, growth and social justice.
The diplomat stated that the destiny of these nations will not be determined by military power or external threats, but by morality and ethics superior to any weapon of war.
According to the chancellor, these shared values guarantee the sovereignty of both states against claims of global domination.
For his part, Iranian ambassador Ali Chegini recalled that his country has managed to defeat dictatorial regimes that served imperialist interests, strengthening a cooperation agenda with Venezuela in the energy, economic and cultural fields.
The diplomat reiterated his rejection of the international aggressions suffered by the Bolivarian Government, describing them as a flagrant violation of International Law and the principles of non-interference.
