The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, held a meeting this Saturday with the German Ambassador accredited in Venezuela, Volker Pellet, to whom he presented the complaint of the criminal, illegal and illegitimate attack perpetrated by the United States on January 3, against our country, which left a balance of a hundred civilians and soldiers murdered, as well as the illegal kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and the First Lady, Cilia Flores.
The information was made known by the chancellor through a publication on his Telegram channel, where he noted that both diplomats agreed that respect for international law, the Charter of the United Nations and international legality must be the basis of relations between nations, and that diplomatic means is the correct path to resolve conflicts, as pointed out by the acting president Delcy Rodríguez, within the framework of the Bolivarian Peace Diplomacy.
Likewise, he said that during the meeting they talked about the joint construction of a work agenda between Germany and Venezuela.
In the early hours of January 3, the United States launched a large-scale attack against Venezuela, kidnapping President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, and murdering 100 peoplebetween civilians and military.
