Venezuela and Egypt design lines of work for the coming years

The Vice Minister for Africa, Yuri Pimentel, received this Friday the new ambassador appointed by the Arab Republic of Egypt to Venezuela, Kareem Essam El-Din Amin.

The meeting takes place regarding the actions prior to the delivery of the style copies to the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Carlos Faría, and the credentials to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, according to a press release of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.

The working meeting took place in the Social Heroes room of the Casa Amarilla, Antonio José de Sucre, in the city of Caracas, where both diplomats reviewed the relations of cooperation, friendship and brotherhood between Venezuela and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the same time they advanced in the design of the lines of work for the coming years.

At the end of the meeting, Vice Minister Pimentel highlighted the intention of both nations to strengthen the areas of bilateral cooperation, such as oil, gas, agriculture and livestock, as well as the willingness to create new alliances in other matters.

He also pointed out that these nations have diplomatic relations dating back more than 70 years, which have been marked by cooperation and solidarity; being strengthened since 2004 with particular incidence in the multilateral aspect.

Both republics habitually exhibit alliances and support, based on the position of respect and adherence to the principles that govern international law.
