Venezuela and Cuba strengthen bilateral relations of mutual cooperation

This Thursday, in the Simón Bolívar Press Room of the Miraflores Palace, the President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro Moros received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, to review the map of cooperation that throughout These twenty years have consolidated between both nations.

Respect, shared solidarity and the signing of win-win agreements have been the premises that have strengthened these relations, which have worked equitably for both peoples.

The meeting was attended by the Cuban ambassador to Venezuela, Dagoberto Rodríguez, in addition to the first combatant, Cilia Flores de Maduro, and the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez.

The Cuban diplomat, Bruno Rodríguez, will be visiting the country to ratify the solid diplomatic relations forged by Commanders Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez, and which President Nicolás Maduro currently maintains with his counterpart Miguel Díaz Canel.

It should be noted that Venezuela and the largest of the Antilles are an example of the permanent resistance of their peoples against all the aggressions, criminal blockades and unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government.

It is important to highlight that in different international scenarios, interventionist actions or measures that violate International Law have been rejected, as both countries bet at this stage of contemporary history on the self-determination of peoples, social welfare and the consolidation of inclusion policies such as fundamental characteristic of the humanist revolution.

President Nicolás Maduro said: “I reiterate my gratitude for the frontal and tireless fight against COVID-19 for the vaccines sent to our country, Abdala and Soberana Plus.” In addition, he highlighted the 19 years of the Barrio Adentro Mission as part of the Cuba-Venezuela comprehensive agreement, in an important area such as free, public and quality health, and the training of community doctors.

Finally, regarding Cuba’s contribution in matters of education, culture, sports and in the agri-food sector, it is relevant to point out the number of agreements signed in these matters. At the same time as in livestock, fish, and for obtaining cereals, legumes and tubers.

The historical role played by both nations in the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of America was and continues to be the Latin American integration body that has been in favor of the peoples with the legacy of José Martí and Simón Bolívar to form the necessary unity between nations. .
