The governments of Venezuela and Colombia opened the binational bridge, the second less than a week, for the transit of vehicles, something that had not happened since 2015. During the opening of the binational crossing, the Colombian Minister of Transportation, Guillermo Reyes, reported the governed Piñate in his Twitter account. Twitterwhere he shared photographs of the bilateral activity.
Reyes, for his part, said on the social network that this was “an important binational meeting” in which the authorities worked “on the protocols for a safe opening of the border, key for both countries.”
“We are committed to strengthening relations with Venezuela and, thus, promoting the progress of citizens,” he added, reported EFE.

On January 1, Venezuela and Colombia consummated the “total opening” of their border, with the inauguration of the well-known international bridge of Tienditas, recently named Atanasio Girardotin which the passage of vehicles will also be allowed.
