Venezuela and Colombia propose creating a plan to promote commercial dynamism

Colombia and Venezuela seek to promote binational relations. On January 7, the ruler Nicolás Maduro and his Colombian counterpart Gustavo Petro held a meeting in Caracas, where they reviewed an agreement for the promotion and protection of cross-border investments.


Authorities from Venezuela and Colombia met to review progress in the bilateral trade relationship. The delegations of both countries proposed to develop “a work plan in various areas, strengthen cooperation and promote commercial dynamism.”
