Authorities from the governments of Venezuela and Colombia evaluated, through a videoconference, the formation of a binational fishing and aquaculture committeewhich allows the signing of a cooperation agreement, the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture of the Caribbean country reported this Wednesday.

The State portfolio indicated, in a press release, that officials from both nations exchanged “experiences” to give impetus to “scientific cooperation, evaluate the value of shared fishing resources and develop joint projects”

Last November, Venezuela and Colombia held a business conference in Caracaswith a view to increasing trade relations between both countries.
