The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil held a “highly productive” meeting with the Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Lan Hu, with the aim of fortifying the strategic coalition and addressing important points that allow the agenda to be adjusted to the IV Ministerial Meeting of the Chinese Forum-Celac, to be held in Beijing, capital of the Asian country.
In his Telegram account, Foreign Minister Yván Gil stressed that this cooperation alliance to “all proof and all time” between the two countries translates into socio -economic projects for the benefit of the peoples.
It should be noted that the Celac-China Forum represents a mechanism created in 2014 to promote development and cooperation in different areas, but this year 2025 will take a new nuance against world uncertainty for the tariff war of the Government of Donald Trump.
This ministerial meeting seeks to deepen the levels of cooperation and strengthen the relations of China and the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean in various fields.
Until now, the Forum has held three ministerial meetings: in January 2015 in Beijing, January 2018 in Santiago, Chile and December 2021 in Mexico.
