Venezuela and Brazil build a new strategic map with frank dialogue

Venezuela and Brazil They are building a path of peace under the premise of complementarity to put together a new strategic cooperation map with frank dialogue between governments, highlighted the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In his speech, the Head of State Nicolás Maduro thanked all the “fraternal attention and solidarity that our delegation has received in the preparation of the bilateral meeting, we have had a long and profitable conversation, and we have reviewed what was the golden age of both countries.

These words were expressed by the national President regarding the meeting with his counterpart Lula da Silva, with whom he consolidated on Monday the relaunch of bilateral relations between the two countries that aim at the development and integration of the Great Homeland.

This Monday the presidents of Venezuela and Brazil made a joint declaration after an extended meeting between the ministerial cabinet of both countries.

In his presentation, President Maduro stressed that an extremist ideological model was imposed in Venezuela that tried to isolate it, however, it resisted and emerged gracefully from all the attacks it experienced.

“In Venezuela they imposed on us “the ideologization of extremist policies towards the right to divide and run over them, an extremist ideological model was applied to Venezuela,” he said.

In this sense, he noted that “Venezuela’s doors and windows were closed as countries that love each other (when referring to the lack of communication with Brazil during the government of Jair Bolsonaro),” he said.

New era: new maps

However, despite those times lived, “today a new era opens between our peoples, and a new map of cooperation must be created that covers all areas.”

President Maduro stressed that this new map that is being opened must work on areas such as “the economy, trade, education, health, agriculture, areas of horizontal relations between peoples with a frontal dialogue between governments. We are prepared”.

The Head of State reiterated that Venezuela is on the path towards a new diversified economy, “we have begun to travel a path of recovery,” he added.

Restore relations with business

On this occasion, President Maduro stressed that Venezuela and Brazil must resume the path of respectful relations to strengthen the economy of both countries and thus bring well-being to the peoples.

“Let’s resume respectful relations with all the business community to return to development and joint work,” he added.

“Venezuela is prepared for us to resume virtuous relations with Brazilian investments and businessmen. We have the doors open for us to return to the time of joint development, ”she stressed.

BRICS: new geopolitics

On the other hand, the national President, when talking about the new world geopolitics, pointed out that it is determined by two important elements: one corresponds to the unity of America in diversity and the role played by the BRICS.

“Venezuela would like to be part of the BRICS and accompany the construction of this new architecture, of the new world that is already being born,” he said.

Regarding electricity cooperation, President Nicolás Maduro said that Venezuela has an offer to rebuild cooperation with the state of Roraima.

“Venezuela is prepared to rebuild electricity cooperation with the state of Roraima. We have an offer of 120 megawatts that deserves an investment to rebuild the transmission line”, he indicated.

He stressed that if the approach is achieved, “we could reconnect the Guri with Roraima.”

The President of the Republic once again denounced the sanctions and attacks to which the country has been subjected, after the imposition of unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States government.

“We have brought the proposal that, as a region, the United States government be asked to lift all unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela and the countries that suffer this type of sanctions,” he reiterated.

He recalled that Venezuela raises the flags of freedom “and in all scenarios we carry that reflection, that truth, that proposal.”

Ministerial Meeting

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that a ministerial meeting will be held soon, with the aim of establishing new mechanisms in defense of the border population and the fight against forms of crime.

Earlier, the ministerial cabinets of Venezuela and Brazil held an extended meeting to relaunch the cooperation map between the two nations and obtain the complementarity for the development of the towns.

Participating in the meeting on the part of Venezuela: the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez; the Minister for Oil, Pedro Tellechea; Agriculture and Land, Wilmar Castro Soteldo; Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez; Office of the President, Jorge Márquez; the Venezuelan foreign minister, Yván Gil; and Ecosocialismo, Josué Lorca, who will also review the map of cooperation that characterizes Venezuela and Brazil.

On the Brazilian side, the following participated: the Vice President of the Republic, Geraldo Alckmin; the Minister of Foreign Relations, Mauro Vieira; the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad; the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro; the Minister of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira; the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Luciana Santos and the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change, Marina Silva.

Venezuela and Brazil have reaffirmed their willingness to advance a work agenda for the benefit of both peoples, which began on January 1 after the reestablishment of diplomatic relations after the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva .
