Venezuela and Belize strengthen cooperation agreements

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a meeting this Thursday with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Easton Courtenay, to strengthen the ties of cooperation between both nations.

The meeting was held at the Antonio José de Sucre Yellow House, in Caracas.

The Belizean foreign minister arrived in the country this Thursday and was received by the Vice Minister for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Foreign Ministry, Rander Peña Ramírez.

“On behalf of Pdte. @NicolasMaduro and Foreign Minister @Fariacrt, we received the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Immigration of Belize, Eaton Courtenay, who arrives in the country to strengthen brotherhood and comprehensive cooperation between both Nations. Welcome!” Peña wrote on the social network Twitter.

Later, they went to the National Pantheon, where they made a floral offering, to pay tribute to Simón Bolívar.

From Venezuela we extend our greeting of brotherhood and fraternity to all the Belizean people,” Peña wrote on the social network.

Venezuela and Belize have more than 30 years of bilateral relations, where cooperation agreements have been signed, especially in cultural and educational matters.
