Venezuela and Algeria strengthen air relations

The Minister for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, and the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and head of the Algerian delegation, Mohammed Abdelhafid Henni, signed an agreement on Thursday to strengthen relations in air matters.

Through the Twitter account of the Ministry for Transportation, it was indicated that this agreement will regulate “the air transport of passengers and cargo between both nations, to generate well-being for the people.”

During the meeting, Minister Mohammed Abdelhafid Henni stressed the importance of both nations and that, with this agreement, cooperation ties are strengthened in different strategic areas such as trade and economics.

In this sense, he stated that this mission is the fourth to be part of a High-Level Mixed Commission, in charge of dealing with all matters that concern the two countries and that will allow the strengthening of bilateral relations; Refers to official press release.

To date, Venezuela and Algeria have signed 28 cooperation agreements in the political, cultural, energy, commercial, scientific, communicational, legal, transportation, educational and electoral areas, among others.

Mohammed Abdelhafid Henni arrived in Venezuela this Wednesday to participate in the IV Meeting of the Mixed Government Commissionand thus evaluate the development of cooperation projects in the agricultural area.

Also this Thursday, Abdelhafid held a meeting with the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, to review the cooperation mechanisms that seek to strengthen bilateral rapprochement, reports a note from presidential press.
