As part of this Assembly, the Venezuelan official also held meetings with representatives of Colombia, Tanzania and Brazil.

The meeting with Catalina Velasco, Minister of Housing, City and Territory of Colombia, took place when she visited the Venezuela stand, where they shared experiences in housing construction.

On the other hand, the minister described as gratifying the meeting held with the Minister of Lands, Housing and Development of Human Settlements of Tanzania, Angeline Sylvester, which served to strengthen bilateral relations with that nation.

Also this Tuesday, the Venezuelan delegation met with a team from Brazil, led by Guillherme Simões, vice-minister for the Peripheries of the Ministry of Cities, and the National Secretary for Urban Development, Carlos Tomé, in order to draw up a map of intention to develop a concrete agenda that allows consolidating the agreements projected by presidents Nicolás Maduro and Luis Inácio Lula Da Silva.

In this regard, Minister Ildemaro Villaroel pointed out that it was an emotional meeting and expressed his gratitude. Both delegations agreed to salute the brotherhood between these two sister nations.

Venezuela participates since Monday in the Second Assembly of the United Nations (UN) for Habitat, which is held in the city of Nairobi, Kenya, where it presents the great advances obtained in housing law despite coercive measures.
