On board the already traditional “Nazareno Móvil”, the effigy of the Lord of Miracles of Huancavelica went out in procession.
However, not even the rain that hit the city made the faithful stop accompanying the effigy, who were next to the tiny effigy of the Christ of Pachacamilla, who advanced with the traditional aroma of incense.
The tour began with a delay, after a mass was held in the San Sebastián Church, where the faithful, devotees and public officials of the Provincial Municipality of Huancavelica gathered, the same ones who organized the mass.
Although the mass was dedicated to the Provincial Municipality of Huancavelica, Mayor Rómulo Cayllahua was conspicuous by his absence, since he only coordinated the presence of his representatives.
Yesher Riveros Castillo, president of the Brotherhood of the Lord of Miracles – Branch Men, explained that they had to go out in procession on October 25 and not last October 18 because the protest of the population of Yauli for the paralysis of the highway to Pucapampa could be extended several more days.
“We are well received by the population of Huancavelica, the neighbors and institutions have prepared their altars for the population, so that faith in the Lord continues to grow every year,” said Riveros Castillo.
