During the registration of his candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic, Hugo Velázquez assured that with his candidacy they will seek to rescue the Colorado Party and liberate the country.
“I am going to liberate the country from those people who believe they are the owners of the country and who want to subjugate the republican institutions and democracy,” he affirmed.
He added that his movement, Fuerza Republicana, will be the one that will put “in front” of these people that the only thing they would seek would be to continue profiting at the expense of the country. In turn, he assured that his government will also directly confront organized crime and mafias.
