Vehicle sales increase 21.6% in October, says Anfavea

Vehicle sales increased 21.6% in October this year, compared to the same month in 2023. Last month, 264.9 thousand units were licensed in the country, including cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses. The survey was released this Wednesday (6) by the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea).Vehicle sales increase 21.6% in October, says Anfavea

Year to date – from January to October –, sales grew 15% compared to the same period in 2023, with a total of 2.124 million units.

Vehicle exports also increased last month. The increase was 39.2% compared to October 2023, reaching 43.5 thousand units exported.

In the year to date this year, exports totaled R$ 327.8 thousand, which represents a drop of 7.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
