On the other hand, cars without a catalyst and without a green seal (non-catalytic) that end in 4, 5, 6 and 7 are also affected by this measure.
It is important to remember that the fines for not complying with the vehicular restriction they can vary between 1 and 1.5 UTM (Monthly Tax Units), which is approximately equivalent to a value between $63,074 and $94,611, depending on the value of the UTM for the current month. Both Carabineros, as well as inspectors from the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications and municipal inspectors have the power to file violations for non-compliance.
