The strike decreed this morning by the Vector Control Technicians of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), was suspended after meeting with the entity’s general secretary, José Baruco.
The general secretary of the Association of Technicians and Vector Control, Evelio Gaona Medina, said that they would give a vote of confidence to the Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, to approve the departure transfers they request, in terms of salary and for the operation of the Department of Vectors at the national level.

For his part, Baruco, who acted on behalf of the head of Health, confirmed that for next Wednesday, May 25, the Budget Commission of the National Assembly will meet to discuss the transfer of departure on the payment of expired validity, commitments of more 10 years that peers are not paid.
He also reported that a request will be made to the Ministry of Economy and Finance for the purchase of supplies from the Department of Vectors.
